- ADMISSION TO PhD STUDIES: Submission of documents for admission to doctoral studies in 2020 was planned from 06 to 17 April, submission of documents is planned in the specified time (while in electronic form aspirantura.kpi@gmail.com), then doctoral students within a month report remotely at the meeting of the department on the detailed plan doctoral dissertation and the number of publications on the doctoral dissertation. The department prepares an opinion (extract from the minutes of the remote meeting of the department on the possibility of submitting a work for defense during two years of doctoral studies), and sends it to the Department of Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies. Every year in June, all recommended entrants to the doctoral program are invited to a meeting of the admissions committee for the doctoral program. In 2020, the functions of the admissions committee for doctoral studies will be performed by the commission on scientific and innovative activities of the Academic Council of the University.
- ADMISSION TO POSTDOCTORAL STUDIES: It is necessary to hold (possibly remotely) at the meetings of the departments presentations of research proposals of entrants to graduate school in 2020.It is offered to acquaint the staff of the department remotely with the topic, relevance, scientific novelty of the research of each entrant to graduate school. After the presentations, submit to the Department of Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies information on the number of entrants to graduate school as of May 2020. We remind you that admission to graduate school in 2020 - FROM MAY 20 to JULY 1.
- INFO FOR PHD STUDENTS WHO GRADUATES IN 2020: According to the current legislation, postgraduate training ends with the conclusion of the scientific novelty, theoretical and practical significance of the dissertation results. The mentioned conclusion is given after preliminary examination of the dissertation. Deadline for completion of postgraduate training - 30.09.2020. Currently, graduate students preparing documents for the preliminary examination of the dissertation, academic certificates are being processed, and the problem has already arisen that graduate students do not have 3 publications on the topic of the dissertation in accordance with the new requirements.
Please check the readiness of fourth-year graduate students for defense (remotely). If necessary, provide graduate students with counseling.
